August Blog Hop Masculine Card

Here are the cards that were created by other Ingenuity Inkers for the August Blog Hop. This time we were asked to make a masculine card. Click on the links below to see their cards and then scroll down to see the card that I created, along with a YouTube video with instructions on how I made this card.

MJ Owens, Southwest Stamper

Linda Bedinger, Ink and Ingenuity

Lucinda Veeck Gosden, Frabjous Cards

Noreen Brungardt, Joy of Cards

I just love the new Soft Pastels Assortment from Stampin' Up! It was so fun to create this card using Versamark ink, sponge daubers and a couple of the pastels from the assortment.

I used the Evergreen Elegance stamp set featured in the July - December Mini Catalog for my tree images and used the pastels to apply the shading to the trees and sky. This stamp set is intended for the holidays but you can see how versatile it is for creating other cards as well. For all of the instructions for this card, check out my YouTube video below.
