This month's blog hop challenge was to create a card using the Hand-Penned Suite. I truly love everything about this suite of products and I enjoyed creating this card.
For this card, I used a base of Highland Heather cardstock and layered a piece of the Hand-Penned Designer Series paper on the front. I used the border die from the suite on all four sides of the DSP to give that piece a little more interest.
I stamped the flower image in Memento Black ink and used Blender Brushes to apply Highland Heather, Daffodil Delight and Mint Macaron ink to the floral piece and then used the Penned Flower dies to cut out the image.
The Stitched So Sweetly dies were used to cut the pieces of Pool Party, embossed with the Tasteful Texture embossing folder and Highland Heather for the sentiment which was stamped with Versamark ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder.
The inside of the card was stamped in Highland Heather ink using the Best Year stamp set. A small piece of coordinating DSP was added to the bottom to help bring the outside of the card to the inside.
I hope you like this card I created and I invite you to click on the links below to see what others on my team have created with this suite of products.
