Pattern Party Valentine Card

After taking a break for the holidays, our team is back doing monthly swaps. This month's theme is to create a Valentine card. I thought it would be fun to go outside the box and make a card that's not in the traditional colors for Valentine's Day.

For this card, I used the Pattern Party Designer Series paper because I just loved the black and white checks with the bright colors! The hearts were created using the Heart Punch Pack with includes the regular heart cutout and the scallop heart cutout for different interest on your cards. I also embossed each of the heart with the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder.

I added a piece of vellum to the front of the card that has been die cut using one of the Scalloped Contour Dies. Using Versamark ink on Basic Black cardstock, I heat embossed the sentiment from the Blessings of Home stamp set, using white embossing power. I then cut the words of the sentiment to fit on each of the hearts.

For the inside of the card, I used the regular heart punch and some more of the Pattern Party DSP and stamped the sentiment from the Pansy Patch stamp set using Polished Pink ink.

I hope you like this card and thanks for stopping by!
