Whimsical Trees for Sale

This card doesn't use traditional holiday colors but I love how it turned out! I created this card to show a different technique for a recent card class.

I started with a card base of Melon Mambo and added another layer of Melon Mambo that was run through the Stampin' Cut and Emboss Machine using the Whimsical Woodland embossing folder. I took a white ink pad and wiped it across the embossed piece creating this fun pattern for some nice interest on the front of the card.

I cut the circle for the trees and the sentiment piece using the Stylish Shapes dies. The trees are stamped with Garden Green and Mint Macaron ink. I stamped the sentiment from the Trees for Sale stamp set using Versamark ink and then embossed it using white embossing powder.

To finish off this card, I added another of the trees on the inside.

5 1/4 x 4 Melon Mambo Layer (embossed)

5 1/4 x 4 Basic White layer for inside

Scraps of Basic White and Mint Macaron for die cutting
